A pretty market town with lovely cafes, art galleries and shops.
Well worth exploring – beautiful in places and not too touristy – a town to escape from Tenby if you need it and what a castle – magnificent!
Called the County town of Pembrokeshire and serves as the county’s principal administrative and commercial centre. Situated on the banks of the Cleddau River overlooked by one of the many county’s castles. Not the prettiest but if you need a larger town. There is also a cinema here – see below
Close by to Tenby with large beach, harbour, shops and restaurants. Being a Tenby fan we can’t get too excited!
Although 1 hour’s drive from Tenby it is well worth it. The smallest city in the UK and the final resting place of St David. Beside the Alun River with the magical cathedral and Bishop’s palace it is a great place to absorb yourself in Welsh history. May be the next UK city of culture
